W. FRANKLIN SEASE, JR., M.D.

Dr. Sease practices primary care sports medicine. He focuses on non-operative care of musculoskeletal conditions and injury/illness as it relates to sports. His treatment plans are centered around keeping people active through illness and injury.

Dr. Sease is a native of South Carolina. He received both his Bachelor's Degree and Medical Degree from The University of South Carolina. After a residency in Family Medicine (Spartanburg, SC), he continued his post graduate medical education at The University of Pittsburgh where he completed fellowships in Sports Medicine as well as Faculty Development (Academic Medicine). Prior to joining Steadman Hawkins Clinic of the Carolinas he was in private practice in Asheville, NC.

Dr. Sease is Board Certified in Family Medicine and holds a Certificate of Added Qualifications in Sports Medicine. He enjoys treating athletes and performers of all levels, with special interests in treating endurance athletes, golfers, and pediatrics.
