Dr. Jaworski is a Chicago native who began her practice with the Steadman Hawkins Clinic of the Carolinas in 2005. She specializes in the non-surgical orthopedic care of athletes and non-athletes alike.
Dr. Jaworski completed her medical school education at Northeastern Ohio University College of Medicine. She completed a residency in Family Medicine at MacNeal Hospital in Chicago and then went on to a Sports Medicine Fellowship at The Cleveland Clinic. While she was at the Cleveland Clinic she had the opportunity to participate in the care of athletes from Cleveland State University, The New York City Rockettes, the Cleveland Browns, the Cleveland Cavaliers and Rockers, and the Cleveland Barons. She was also fortunate enough to spend time with the Cleveland Indians at spring training in Winter Haven Florida. After completing her fellowship training, Dr Jaworski returned to Chicago where she grew a busy sports medicine practice and provided care for The Luna Negra Professional Dance Company.
In addition, Dr Jaworski, has been a physician with USA Wrestling since 1999, providing care around the country for USA Wrestling National Tournaments from the Cadet to the Olympic level. She has knowledge and experience in the treatment of wrestling related injuries both on and off the mat as well as the treatment of skin infections.
Dr. Jaworski is now excited to be with the Steadman Hawkins Clinic of the Carolinas and hopes to continue to provide quality orthopedic care to the Upstate community. She is an amateur endurance athlete and particularly enjoys taking care of other runners, cyclists and triathletes who share her passion.
